MedSpeeder steps up when patient care is on the line
A health system in Michigan urgently needed life-saving blood products for a patient in critical condition on a holiday. John Hauck, a MedSpeed logistics service representative since 2024, responded without hesitation when dispatch called with the pressing request.
Knowing this was a patient-on-the-table situation, John knew he had to help. He drove straight to the American Red Cross to collect the blood products and delivered them to the hospital within the required time frame, ensuring the care team had what they needed to continue life-saving treatment.
“John exhibits the motivation and drive that resonates throughout the entire Michigan team. Patients’ needs come first. John understands why we are here and does whatever it takes to ensure our customers can provide uninterrupted care,” said Glenn Clarke, Operations Manager of MedSpeed’s Detroit hub.
