Who does MedSpeed work with?
MedSpeed works exclusively with healthcare, including health systems, laboratories, pharmacies, blood centers, home health agencies, veterinary laboratories and more.
Where is MedSpeed located?
MedSpeed has local hubs in 33 states nationwide. Our headquarters is in Elmhurst, IL.
What is a logistics service representative (LSR)?
LSR is our title for our drivers. We use the title Logistics Service Representative because our LSRs play a vital part of delivering care and they provide a high level of professionalism and customer service for our clients.
What is a TED (the Transportation Evaluation and Design)?
The TED is our network evaluation and design process. We understand that each healthcare organization is unique, and the logistics that supports them must be tailored to support the organization. During the TED, our team of analysts gains a comprehensive understanding of a customer’s needs, priorities and vision and then designs a custom transportation solution that brings optimal value.
What are MedSpeed’s hours of operation?
MedSpeed’s operations are equipped to support our customers 24/7/365.
Does MedSpeed have scan and track technology?
Yes, MedSpeed has developed our own custom scan and track technology that is part of our larger technology suite.
Does MedSpeed offer customer reporting?
Yes, our data and analysis team provide our customers with custom reporting.
What type of vehicles does MedSpeed use to transport items?
Vehicle selection is determined after our analytical process is complete and individual routes are finalized. Depending on the expected cargo requirements of each route, MedSpeed assigns the right types of vehicles to ensure our fleet is outfitted to match the unique needs of each of our customers. This means that we drive all types of vehicle categories, from small cars to large trucks.
