I’m very pleased to announce that MedSpeed has joined Practice Green Health, an organization that supports “environmental solutions for the healthcare sector and lends support to create better, safer, greener workplaces and communities.” This nonprofit membership organization was founded on the principles of positive environmental stewardship to support best practices by organizations in the healthcare community.
With roots that go back 15 years:
Practice Greenhealth is now the nation’s leading membership and networking organization for companies in the healthcare community that have made a commitment to sustainable, environmentally preferable practices. Practice Greenhealth members include hospitals and healthcare systems, healthcare providers, manufacturers and service providers, architectural, engineering and design firms, group purchasing organizations and affiliated non-profit organizations.
Their stipulated goal is that sustainable health care that is good for the environment is also good for patients, staff and the bottom line. Our involvement with Practice Green Health is a great way for MedSpeed to step up our own sustainability efforts and it’s another way that we can support our customers’ sustainability initiatives, all the while fulfilling the important and worthy mission to make healthcare more affordable and better.
